Founded by a team of passionate educators and child development experts, Little Stars has been lighting up young minds for over a decade. Our center sprang from a simple, powerful idea: to create a space where children feel safe to explore, parents feel secure to trust, and staff feel inspired to teach.

Owner and Director of Little Stars Learn & Play Center
I am a believer, wife, and mother of 3 wonderful children. I have been in early childhood education for 18 years as a teacher, assistant director, and owner/director. I received my Bachelor degree in Arts. I completed a Certificate and Diploma in Early childhood education and completed additions 25 units in child development and continues ongoing education classes and training yearly in child development. We are CPR & First Aid certified. We have been open since June 2013. I truly believe that a child’s first five years of life are the most essential years of their lives. I’m able to help assist them in their learning and development and watch them learn and grow at the same time. My passion for early childhood and amazing families and a wonderful team of talented educators and early childhood professionals allows me to have so much passion and joy coming into work every single day!

Mission
LITTLE STARS LEARN & PLAY CENTER is a childcare Center that is open to all children, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or gender.
We aim to partner with parents to prepare each child for future learning opportunities when they enter elementary school. In order to accomplish this goal, we provide each child with an enriching, nurturing and safe environment to develop their individual strengths. We use developmentally appropriate materials and instruction, The Outdoor Classroom Method, with a focus on building social, and emotional skills, to support a love of schooling. Fostering independence and behavioral tools that will lead each child on the path to grow, thrive and love education.

Philosophy
LITTLE STARS LEARN & PLAY CENTER believe children learn from what they experience. We believe that children learn through imaginative play,
personalized hands-on experiences and interactions with their environment, peers, school and local community. We create provocations for individuals, small and whole group activities, supplemented by a variety of Age Appropriate & developmentally enriching materials, we encourage the children to develop to their full potential.
